Eligibility Criteria
Alagappa University distance education eligibility depends on the programme level and the selected course.
- UG programmes: pass in 10th and 12th or 3 years Diploma from a recognised board.
- PG programmes: bachelor degree from a UGC-recognised university.
- MBA: any undergraduate degree from a recognised university.
- MCA: BCA / B.Sc IT or CS / B.Tech, or any UG degree with Mathematics at 12th level.
- M.Sc programmes: bachelor degree in the relevant subject wherever required.
- Diploma and Certificate programmes: eligibility as per university norms for the chosen course.
Admission Procedure
Students can complete admission with guidance from the Chennai Learning & Admission Centre.
- Choose the suitable UG, PG, MBA, MCA, Diploma, or Certificate programme.
- Confirm eligibility and specialisation with the admission counsellor.
- Submit application details and required documents for verification.
- Pay the applicable university/admission fee through the prescribed mode.
- Receive admission confirmation, enrolment guidance, and student support instructions.
Documents Required
Keep clear copies of documents ready before applying.
- Passport size photograph and signature.
- SSLC / 10th marksheet.
- HSC / 12th marksheet or 3 years Diploma certificate where applicable.
- UG degree certificate and marksheets for PG / MBA / MCA admissions.
- Transfer Certificate, Community Certificate, and Aadhaar Card where applicable.
- Two sets of photocopies for centre verification.
