(Distance Education)
Undergraduate Programs (UG):
- B.A. , B.Com. , B.Sc. – Pass in 10th and 12th or 3 years Diploma from any Government recognized board.
- B.Sc. (Specializations like Microbiology, Zoology, etc.) – Preferably with a Science background in 12th.
Diploma / Certificate Courses:
- Pass in 12th or equivalent (depends on specific program).
Postgraduate Programs (PG):
- M.A. , M.Com. , M.Sc. – Bachelor’s degree from a UGC-recognized university.
- M.Sc. (Microbiology, Zoology, etc.) – B.Sc. in the relevant subject.
- MCA – BCA / B.Sc. (IT/CS) / B.Tech. or any UG degree with Mathematics at 12th level.
- MLIS – BLIS or equivalent degree.
- MBA – Any UG degree.

- Two sets of Xerox copies of all above documents.
- Originals required for verification and returned immediately after verification.
Admission Confirmation
Admission is confirmed by The Director, DDE, Alagappa University Distance Education. Student ID is generated and study materials are issued after receipt from the University.
Fee Deadline
Prescribed course fee must be paid along with required eligibility documents before the last date of admission. Admissions will not be granted after the deadline.

Admissions are confirmed by the Alagappa University Distance Education Directorate of Distance Education (DDE) through the authorised learning centre in Chennai – Ekkatuthangal.
Distance education examinations are conducted in Chennai and all over Tamil Nadu by the Controller of Examinations, Alagappa University Distance Education, as per UGC guidelines.
